Package weight :2.0 kg. The blade was made of T10 steel with Clay Tempered in the traditional katana design, and it has been laminated in a Maru style. The Shinogi Zukuri blade with nice proportions and still very solid because of its excellent geometry to achieve optimal performance. With a successful quench the blade is then any warps or bends are straightened and the final curvature (sori) adjusted as necessary. The blade is then tempered to it's finest hardness. To fully polish the blade that need to work up through at least 6-8 stones by Japanese method which made the surface of the blade like a mirror and sharpness. First comes the basic shaping, the refining of the basic shape and lastly the'make-up' of the blade.

Each next stones constantly stacking unique aesthetic details and will remove the scratches of the previous stone. This traditional polishing process produces a blade with a keen edge, clean lines, and flat surface. The tip of the blade is a Chu Kissaki (medium length) and the blade comes full tang and sharp that can be used to cut the straw mat and bamboo but should with good technique and right gesture with a single strike yet sharp enough to slice paper. The habaki (blade collar) is a one-piece brass construction.

Each saya is individually carved to match its blade, ensuring a proper fit. The saya is Rosewood finished in good polished. (1) A silk sword bag comes with the sword. But the wooden stand in below item pictures is NOT included.
